17 HAFTADA 99 AİLE !...
Ülkemiz jeolojik yapısı itibariyle deprem riskinin yüksek olduğu bir coğrafi konumda bulunmaktadır. Tarih boyunca gerçekleşen yıkıcı depremlerde ciddi can ve mal kayıplarının yaşandığı bu coğrafyada gelecekte de bu depremlerin tekrarlanacağı bilimsel şüphe götürmez bir gerçektir. Bu noktada Deprem afetinin insana ve topluma vereceği zararlara karşı korunma ve tedbir alma hem insani hem de ekonomik boyutlarıyla önem kazanan bir konu olmaktadır. Bu konuda ise resmi kurumlar kadar sivil toplum kuruluşlarına,özel topluluklara hatta bireylere ciddi görevler düşmektedir.
“17 haftada da 99 aile” isimli bu projede; 17 haftada 99 pilot aileye ulaşarak bu kitlede deprem, deprem etkileri ve deprem korunması konusunda bilinçlenme sağlanması ve buradan tüm topluma yayılacak bir duyarlılık ortamının yaratılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Proje sosyal sorumluluk/deprem korunması ve Medya iletişim /gençlik bilgilendirmesi temaları doğrultusunda geliştirilen bir çalışma olup; Birinci derece deprem kuşağında bulunan ve geçmişte gerçekleşen depremlerde ciddi can ve mal kayıplarının yaşandığı Sakarya, Yalova, Kocaeli, Gölcük, Düzce, Dinar (Afyon), Gediz (Kütahya), il ve ilçeleri ile Eskişehir ve Kütahya il merkezlerinde (merkez) ‘de gerçekleştirilecektir.
Bu kapsamda yukarıda belirtilen illerden seçilecek 99 aileye, Dumlupınar Üniversitesi Arama Kurtarma Kulübünün 28 üyesi tarafından, evlerinde eğitimler verilecektir. Aynı zamanda açılacak standartlarla yerel halka çeşitli yazılı ve görsel materyallerle bilgilendirmeler yapılacak, Kütahya merkezde kurulacak olan Bilgi Sistem Merkezi ile de faaliyetin belirli dönemleri boyunca süresi boyunca yerel halka deprem ve depremden korunma bilinci kazandırılacaktır.
Proje bir Ulusal gençlik projesi olup hazırlık ve uygulama aşamasıyla birlikte 150 gün sürecektir.
17 Weeks for 99 Families
Turkey has been lie on geographic location having high earthquake risk because of its geological structure. It is scientific reality that earthquake would be repeated in the future in this geography where serious human and property casualties has been lived along to history. So, to protect and to take measures to damages and harms on human being and community, which earthquake would cause, is very important and critic subject with its humane and economic aspects. In this subject, civil society and even individuals have a big responsibility as much as government agencies.
In this Project, it is aimed to provide consciousness at 99 pilot families in the subjects of earthquake, earthquake effects and protection from earthquake, and to create sensitivity ambience being spread from these families to the whole of community.
This Project which is developed in the scope of themes of social responsibility/protection from earthquake and media communication/youth acquainting, will be realized in provinces/ districts of Sakarya, Yalova, Kocaeli, Gölcük, Düzce, Dinar (Afyon), Gediz (Kütahya), where serious human and property casualties were lived in earthquakes happened in the past and provinces of Kütahya and Eskişehir.
In this range, 99 families to be selected from provinces and districts indicated above, will be trained in their homes by 24 undergraduates members of Dumlupınar University Search and Rescue Group. In addition to this, this group will acquaint local public with protection from earthquakes with trainer written and visual materials presented at the stands to be opened daily at appropriate places of visited cities, and in the learning center to be opened in definite periods (total 3 weeks) along project application activities in Kütahya.
Project is national youth project and will continue along 150 days with the stages of preparation and application.
